I can’t quite remember the first moment when I picked up a camera and fell in love with photography – to me that’s a sign that it is a true passion. It has just always been a part of who I am. My whole life I have loved being able to freeze time and capture the people around me just as they were in that very moment. The day that it spilled over to capturing those moments for other people to have? Well – that was pure magic!
I’m not the world’s tallest person by any means, but being 5 feet tall (on a good day!) has a definite advantage when snapping pictures of your little ones – I’m already that much closer to their level! There is nothing better than getting up close and personal to capture that priceless look on a child’s face, and being short gets me there that much faster. On the other hand, I have absolutely no shame in carting around a step stool to make sure I can get the perfect shot of you tall adults out there as well!
When I’m not busy snapping away with my Nikon, I love spending time with my husband and my 2 year old boxer, Zoe. I also work as a Registered Nurse and hold advanced certifications in both Adult and Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Born and raised an East Coast Girl, you will find me celebrating the arrival of Dunkin Donuts on the West Coast, while staunchly defending the Red Sox, no matter how rough they’re looking this year!
