2023 has given me so much to be grateful for, and the year isn’t even over yet! I thought today would be the perfect time to slow down and reflect on what an incredible year it has been and to showcase some of the amazing families and in-home newborn photo sessions that I have had the immense privilege to photograph.
There will be more posts coming to share more about these families, their stories, and their sessions, but here is a look at just a few from this year.
Some absolutely beautiful Family Portrait Sessions:
Family Photo sessions are hard to share this time of year! Out of respect for those families that I have worked with who might want their photos to be kept a secret until their holiday cards come out, I’m only sharing a couple of sessions that took place earlier this year.
This first family session took place at the beautiful Willowwood Arboretum. These photos were taken to celebrate this adorable little guy’s first birthday. We had some incredible light, and great weather for this beautiful session!
This next session took place at Centennial Gardens in Floral Park, NY. This beautiful location was perfect for this family session. We had so many picturesque spots to choose from! You can see the full blog post and more images from this gorgeous session here.
Next up, this incredible maternity session was photographed on a combination of digital and film cameras. I loved using both mediums and have been incorporating more film into my work.
In-Home Newborn Photo Sessions:
I have truly loved getting to photograph these in-home newborn photo sessions this year. Being welcomed into so many homes and getting to meet so many sweet, kind, and genuine families has been such a highlight of my year. I love being able to provide photography in my clients’ homes so that they can relax and enjoy their sessions instead of having to worry about packing everything up to travel to a studio. This in-home newborn photo session celebrated the arrival of a beautiful little girl. She joined her adoring big sister to grow this family of three to a sweet family of four.
This in-home newborn photo session featured a family that I have been lucky enough to photograph a few times now! I always enjoy getting to spend time with them, their fun energy and love for each other is amazing to be around!
This in-home newborn session holds a special place in my heart, and I cannot wait to share the full story with you in a future blog post. This little miracle babe joined her incredible parents and fur-brother Carl to grow their family.
Another baby girl to celebrate! This in-home newborn photo session featured this sweet family who had recently moved to their new home. They were absolutely wonderful to work with and I am looking forward to sharing more of their session soon!
