After what felt like YEARS of non-stop rain, there was a perfect break in the weather to sneak in these beautiful maternity photos at Loantanka Brook Reservation in Morristown, NJ. Rachel wanted to have her maternity photos outdoors and was willing to brave the cold temperatures to bring her vision to life.
We were incredibly lucky and the weather warmed up just enough on the day of their session. The skies were clear, it was warm and cozy in the sun, and the wind was non-existent. What I didn’t anticipate was just how muddy it would be for their maternity photos at Loantanka Brook Reservation! Rachel and Joe embraced the mud with such grace and a sense of humor which made the session all that much more fun. I am truly grateful for such amazing people to work with!
Rachel wore 2 beautiful dresses from the Client Closet. Each one created a unique look that gave their session a lot of variety.
In the end, these sun-filled maternity photos at Loantanka Brook Reservation not only showcased Rachel and Joe’s love for each other and their excitement about their journey to parenthood, but also celebrated the resilience, flexibility, and humor required of parents. If this session is any indication of their future as parents, Rachel and Joe are going to be absolutely incredible and their sweet baby is so, so lucky to get to call them Mom and Dad.
